Who We Are
Tshwaranang Community Solution is a Non-Profit Organisation registered under NPO Act 71 of 1997 (Registration Number 333-527-NPO). It is also registered as a Non Profit Company under Companies Act 71 of 2008 (Registration Number 2026/121811/08), as well as a Public Benefit Organisation under Income Tax Act 58 of 1962 (Registration Number 930088793).
We are registered with National Treasurer Central Database Supplier: MAAA1697303.
Our Story
Tshwaranang Community Solution was founded by Mr Xolani Nkosi and Sr Phumi Phogole, who saw a need to provide extended HIV Prevention, Treatment and Care targeting Taxi Operators, Street Vendors and General Commuters around 5 Major Taxi Ranks in Tshwane.
Currently we have a verbal MoU with Gauteng SANTACO PEC and Department of Transport. We also maintain a technical relationship with Wits RHI Gophelega Project under Dr Josephine Ochere-Darko.
Our Mission
To provide accessible High quality HIV and Wellness services directly to Taxi Operators, Street Vendors and daily commuters through Fixed Walk-In Health Hubs at major Taxi Ranks.
Our Vision
To transform the Taxi Industry into a powerful engine for Health and Climate Change Resilience by 2028, ensuring all major Taxi Ranks in Tshwane are hubs for accessible care.

What we aim to achieve
Mission Goals
- Provide accessible High quality HIV and Wellness directly to Taxi Operators, Street Vendors and daily commuters via Fixed Walk-In Health Hubs at Marabastad, Bosman, Bloedmall, Mabopane Interchange and Donneboom Taxi Ranks
- Distribute trees for household yards through 1 Million Tree Campaign to improve air pollution within Major Taxi Ranks in Tshwane
- Revive door-size Vegetable Gardens to improve Food Security
- Achieve this through strategic partnership (NaTIS, DEKRA & DTI) and Stigma-free Health Education

- Clean and Safe Water banking through water banking initiatives (Borehole and Jojo Tanks)
- Cooling areas during Hot season through our Tree Project
- Empowering workforce and commuters
